Dirt Defence Pure Marble is an acid resistance treatment specifically designed for Mable surfaces. It will prevent any damage being caused to the surface by laying down a nano barrier that prevents any contaminants to enter into the pores of the substrate.

Ensure the pre-testing procedure has been carried out before applying to
establish wether a base coat is required. Make sure this test is carried out
each time a new surface is treated as there will be varying levels of porosity.
Clean the surface with our pre-clean solution ensuring it is completely dry and
free of dust and any contaminants, we recommend using a tac cloth to do
this just before applying a base coat or top coat.

When choosing to seal a substrate with Dirt Defence Pure Marble its important to test for porosity, if the substrate has no porosity then its probably already got a sealer applied.
Remember each slab of stone is unique, later deliveries can often vary from showroom samples so we recommend that each slab is tested prior to application using our test procedure to indicate how porous the substate is.
